With Dear V, contemporary dance took center stage for the first time in the history of The Curtain Theatre, an outdoor Shakespearean theater on Lake Austin. Drawing on historical and literary themes, five female dancers embraced the obscurity and contradictions of the human experience. Through intricate choreographies and improvisational imagery, Dear V, illuminated the prismatic complexity, valor, rawness and empathy of the feminine sublime.
