Site-Specific Sponsorship Program
Pilot Launch - 2025

This new program marries BLiPSWiTCH’s love of site-specific creation and community engagement in a new way, awarding selected artist(s) with a financial stipend and a production support system to develop and premiere an original site-specific performance work.

Rooted in trust and artistic integrity, we believe in the power of agency. Grantees maintain full creative control over their work—receiving thoughtful feedback and guidance, but never adjudication or artistic direction.

Beyond creative autonomy, artists benefit from mentorship in producing their first full-scale evening-length work, including technical logistics, production timelines, audience engagement, budget allocation and any additional fundraising efforts the artist chooses to pursue.

The program prioritizes local choreographers, enabling transformative dance works that speak to place and people.
