LISA DEL ROSARIO — April 10 + 17 + 24
THURSDAYS — 10:00-11:30AM — FIRST STREET STUDIO
ABOUT LISA’S CLASS SERIES:
Lisa’s key to her longevity and creativity in dance is her dedicated movement practice in the Feldenkrais Method. This work helped her recover from many injuries and developed her inquiry into all things related to movement from the micro, to the daily, to the vigor in dance and the outdoors. Each class in her 3 class series will begin with Feldenkrais as a vehicle to tap into the subtle inner workings of the body to develop proprioceptive awareness that renders new perspectives in the larger movements of dance. We will transition with guided improvisation to apply the somatic discoveries to lead old patterns into new movement patterns. Phrase work will then further the applications in modern/contemporary technique and choreography that will be built and developed over the class series. Come deepen your movement practice with Lisa!
