Katie is an Austin-based dancer, artist, and educator. She is happiest when collaborating with the incredible artists in her community. An alumna of the UTeach Dance program, Katie’s passion is creating a classroom environment that honors the experience and expertise of all students while facilitating their growth as artist citizens.

What do you love about the Austin arts community?
“The thing I have loved most about the Austin art community, especially throughout COVID, is how tight-knit we are. Over the last few months, I’ve seen artists of all mediums supporting each other in ways big and small. From promoting each other, to doing Instagram live takeovers, to projects like RRCD’s Band Together, artists across Austin are making sure our community is taken care of.”
